I am seriously one lucky women to have such great kids and an awesome husband to spoil me on Mother's Day. They started by cleaning the house, doing the laundry and painting walls on Saturday while I was gone at school. Saturday I relaxed, hardly doing anything productive, while they scurried around doing my jobs. Sunday morning the kids treated me to beautiful potted flowers and Pres. Uchtdorf's new book "Forget Me Not". Sydney made for an apron, and Kaylie helped with dinner.
Church was lovely, the talks were so beautiful.
After church we did one of my favorite activities....taking pictures. I asked the kids to give me one last gift....a Mother's Day photo shoot with no whining or complaining. They all obliged so nicely.
The rest of the day was so peaceful. I couldn't have had a better Mother's Day.
My kids were so thoughtful and sweet. I really feel so lucky to be their mother.
