About This Blog

WELCOME to my blog.

This blog was originally created in July of 2008 by my sister-in-law, Heather. She threatened to blackmail me with scandalous lies and unflattering pictures if I did not start a blog of my own. I resisted her threats because I was a scrapbooker NOT a blogger, until finally one day she created this blog for me and I lost my resolve to fight her any longer.

I began blogging as a way to keep in touch with family and friends. It did not take me long to become completely hooked. I loved the idea of so easily recording our family history, not only the big events, but the common everyday happenings of our lives. Over the years we have had our share of ups and downs, many of which are recorded within the posts of this blog. It has become like a friend to me, the kind you can stay up all night talking to and feel better for doing so. The kind of friend that seems to add perspective and purpose to some of lifes most difficult challenges, as well as the simple pleasures we so often overlook.  For that, I am indebted to my ornery sister, Heather, for forcing me to blog. It was like handing me a band-aid I didn't know I needed.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoy the musings of this Mormon, mother of many, who loves to share the feelings of her heart, the crazy chaos of our lives, and the beautiful moments that make it all worth it.
