Who am I? Hmmm...
I am lots of things...Wife, Mother, Daughter of God, Friend, Sister...etc, etc.
Let's begin at the beginning.
I grew up the 4th of 5 children in Portland, Oregon. I lived in the same house my whole life until I graduated from High School and set out on my own.
I moved to Orem, Utah in 1993 and have called Utah my home ever since.
In 1997 I married my best friend, Ken, and together we have made a BIG, BEAUTIFUL family together.
I am the mother of 9 children, 5 girls and 4 boys. I look after 8 of those little kiddos from here, and our little angel, Zachary, looks after all of us from HEAVEN.
I am a student at Utah Valley University, majoring in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Family Studies. I hope to graduate from college someday before my children do. We'll see?
I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a Mormon, and I am a Christian. I love my Father in Heaven, and my Savior, Jesus Christ. If you would like to know more about my faith you can click here.
I love to scrapbook and blog. Recording family history excites me. I record the good and bad, happy and sad, because it is all part of life. I hope my children and grandchildren will read my blogs and feel my testimony, learn from my strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly know that they are my treasures and know how much they are loved.
I love a good bargain. Thrift stores, garage sales, and hand-me-downs are my good friends. I love the thrill of a dollar saved.
I love being a wife and a mother. I consider it a sacred responsibility and an honor.
I am a strong woman, who's not afraid to cry. I am a fighter when I have to be, but really I'm just a softy at heart. I fear failure. Love a clean house. Hate bad customer service. I am lots of things, but mostly I'm just like you; a person trying my best to make it through this crazy journey we call life.
