That's what happens when you have 11 people in your family...you're bound to have birthdays one right after another. We have 5 birthdays between Jan. 17th and Feb. 16th. Only one more to go then we are done until June.
Today is EMMA'S 9th birthday!!!
Happy Birthday, Emma!!!
Tradition is that you can have a friends birthday party on your 8th birthday. Emma got a little jipt seeing as I was coming home from the hospital with a newborn last year on Emma's 8th birthday. So she waited patiently all year to have a friends party on her 9th birthday.
It was lots of fun. Emma has some really sweet friends. We played lots of games, ate pizza, cake and ice-cream, opened presents, giggled, screamed, and all kinds of good stuff like that.
After Em's party I took her to a local park for our traditional birthday photo shoot.
Isn't she just darling? This momma sure thinks so.
To wrap up Emma's big day, Ken took the 5 oldest kids to the theater to see "Puss in boots".
I think Emma had a pretty good 9th birthday.
Love you, love you...Emma girl.

Very, very darling. She is so grown up. Happy birthday Emma.
Happy Birthday to a very sweet girl!
I love all the birthday photos of your kids. How do you end up with so many good ones? (besides haven't cute kids) I need photo taking tips... :-)
Jessica, I take TONS of pictures hoping that some will turn out decent. I can't give you any tips because I am just winging it. I really don't know anything about photography. I plan on taking a photography class next sememster becuase I do LOVE taking pictures of my kiddos. I decided to do birthday photos each year because there all some kids that always seem to become very allusive when I have my camera out, this way I know I'm at least getting a few good pics of every kid every year.
Thanks for ALL the tips! What kind of camera do you use?
Jessica, I have a Sony Cybershot. It was around 200.00 a few years ago. I want to upgrade soon, but I need to research the best options.
