School Pictures

I have been waiting to post school pictures for a while. Todd was sick on picture day so I had to wait for picture retake day to get his picture taken. Yesterday he finally came home with his pictures. I usually try and take all the kids pictures at the same time, but this year I couldn't seem to find that extra moo-la so McKenna and Daric missed out. I might have to experiment with an at home photo shoot for the little ones, in the mean time here are the other 5 kiddies.

I can't get my scanner to work today and I'm impatient and don't want to wait for Ken to get home so these are 'pictures' of the kids school pictures.

Sydney is in 7th grade at Lakeridge Jr. High. She is loving it. She loves her teachers, her classes, and has some great friends. The end of first term is this week and so far she is pulling all A's. Math is her favorite subject. Way to go, Syd.

Kaylie is a 5th grader at Westmore Elementary. She will be 11 years old next week. She is doing so well and growing up so fast. She enjoys school with the exception of a few rowdy boys in her class. She also has a great teacher who has nothing but great things to say about Kaylie. Awesome, girlie!

Tyler is in the 4th grade. He looks so grown-up sporting his green braces. Tyler has had a rough start to the beginning of the school year. He had a substitute for the first 6 weeks who turned out to be a grouch and a pretty lousy teacher. Tyler has had to overcome some attitude and behavior issues this year but has done an amazing job at deciding to make good choices and correct his behavior. His 'real' teacher is back and she is wonderful so things are getting back on track and Ty is doing really well. I am super proud of willingness to self-improve. Great job, Buddy!

Emma is in 2nd grade and school is heaven for her. She loves her teacher, she loves homework, she loves working hard and doing her best. Her classrooms theme this year is being "Pirates of Kindness" her teacher does a great job of finding the best in all her students and teaching them to be kind and respect each other. This is a great year for Em, and she is doing fantastic. Emma you are a great example of hard work. Good work, Honey!

Todd is a big 6 year old in Kindergarten. He had a few rough moments during the first few weeks of school but has since adjusted very well. He loves to work on his homework and tries very very hard. He pushed himself beyond what is expected. I love to see his dedication. He is anxious to begin reading books and does a great job sounding out words. Super job, little Toddy-man.

I can't believe how grown up they all are. So amazing how smart your kids are :) It's nice that Sydney is coping well in Jr High. You didn't say anything about 'dupid boys' and having ken having to pull out the guns :) She's getting prettier and Prettier. I can't believe how big each of them have gotten. You guys are so blessed to have such gorgeous kids. But Jake and I have always said that about your kids. Thanks for the school pics...I love seeing them. Can't wait for the ones of the smaller kids.

I love how they did Sydney's picture, it is so beautiful. All of your kids look so grown up. I can't believe it has been that long since I have seen them because they have all sprouted so much. What a beautiful family you have. It's so good that they are doing so well in school too.
