"Stewey" the Turkey

Over the last few months of unemployment we have had many wonderful blessings...mostly in the form of "random acts of kindness". I've wanted to post a blog all about how thankful we are for loving, compassionate, amazing friends...but I haven't been able to put my feelings into words. Some things are still a little too tender for me to think about. But...I did want to share with you one of the blessings we received Monday night.

Meet "Stewey" the turkey...

Stewey showed up on our front porch last night packed full of Thanksgiving grub. Whoever brought Mr. Turkey didn't miss a thing...He was stuffed full of everything needed for a fantastic Thanksgiving feast. I know there are a lot of people in this world who need "Stewey" more than we do, but it sure feels nice to have people around that care and look out for one another. We are humbled and so very grateful.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

At Tyler's Request

Tyler has been tinkering on the piano lately. He is getting good at playing by ear, and has figured out a few 'mini' songs. I think he must be pretty darn proud of himself, because he asked me to video tape him and post it to the blog.
I am proud of him too. It's been fun the hear the piano again.

Way to go, Ty-Guy!

Guess What!

My baby is ONE! I know...I can hardly believe it myself.

Oh, he is so cute and squishy. He is husky (a.k.a. really chubby) and so stinking adorable. We love our little D-man.

Happy Birthday, Little Man!

Aunt Ellen's Accident

Hey family...I don't know if any of you ever read my blog anymore, because none of you ever leave me comments, but just in case I thought you might want to read this. It's a newspaper article about Aunt Ellen's car accident. http://www.idahostatesman.com/newsupdates/story/961719.html?storylink=addthis
I sure do wish she'd stop scaring us with her horrific accidents, but I am so grateful she has angels looking out for her. Sheesh!

Happy Birthday, Kaylie

Yesterday was Kaylie's 10th birthday! We started the day out with french toast for breakfast, and ended it with pizza, presents, cake, ice-cream, and a movie.

Happy Birthday, Kay, you are such a beautiful girl and we are so proud of you. I hope you had a great day. Love you so so much!

Thank You!

Thanks to everyone who left comments for my sociology assignment. I really needed that help.
