Eight!
8!
That means we have a baptism coming up.
Todd is excited to be baptized but truthfully he is even more excited to be a cub scout. He has been waiting all year to turn eight and get to go to scouts. It's pretty cute.
Todd got a new bike for his birthday. Listen to this little tender mercy- Ken and I went to Target last week to pick him out a bike. We picked one on clearance from $129.99, on sale for $90.86. When we went to checkout the bike rang up for $38.95. No joke! We asked if it was a mistake. We checked tags, and matched description. Everything matched. The clerk assured us it was fine and he couldn't change the price anyway. We kind of felt like we were stealing, but we happily walked out of the store with a band new $38.95 bike. SWEET!
Todd picked our his own birthday cake. He wanted a pumpkin cake for his very own. He also picked a small one for everyone else to share. I think this may be a new tradition, everybody asked if they could have their own little cake on their birthday too. Works for me, it's less cake and cheaper too.
Now for Toddy's 8 year old birthday shoot...
I must say, this guy is so fun to take pictures with!
Oh, how I love this little man.
