More of Aftyn's 1st birthday...
Facts about Aftyn...
*Aftyn is our best snuggler. She is our only baby that will lay her head on our shoulder and fall asleep. She still let's us hold her like an infant wrapped cozy in a blanket. Lying in bed she has to be touching. She loves to be cheek to cheek.
*She is playful. She loves to be tickled and wrestled with. She has a sweet little giggle. But beware...she also has one of the best little crusty faces I have ever seen. And we see if often.
*Aftyn loves her older brothers and sisters. It is not uncommon to see Aftyn perched on top of Tyler's shoulders, or snuggled in her sisters arms. Everyone loves Aftyn.
*She has a dark brown birthmark just under her left shoulder. We call it her Zachary kiss. We also love to kiss that spot.
*Aftyn has 4 teeth. She took her first steps a couple of weeks ago.
*A few months ago Aftyn went from being a tiny petite little thing to being a little chunky monkey almost overnight. She is now pretty solid with rolls everywhere. She is looking more and more like Emma every day.
* Aftyn's hair has lighten from a dark brown into a lighter brown. It's also thinned and I can't wait till it grows and I can start putting in hair accessories. She will not keep headbands in anymore.
*Aftyn is good natured, usually happy. She does have an ornery streak about her that I find adorable.
*She is curious and smart. She loves to squeal, loudly. She also "sings" along to music.
*In short, Aftyn is a wonderful addition to our family. We have been richly blessed by her presence this past year. She fills our hearts with love and gratitude. She fills our home will an added measure of the Spirit. I can not look at her without counting my blessings. She twitter pates me. She is a gift.
