Orem Summer Fest

Saturday was the Orem Summer Fest. We usually don't go because I am not a big fan of crowded places. I always have a fear of losing one of the kids. But this year the girls were performing so we went, minus Ken who was flat in bed because his back went out and Tyler who stayed home to take care of him.

The girls had their last performance of the season, and they did a great job! They have been so fun to watch.

After their performance we didn't stay too long because a storm was threatening, but we did have time for one ride and to see a few things.

The kids LOVED this ride, although Sydney was a little nervous to try she was soon glad she gave it a shot.

The kids really wanted to go back and see the parade later that night so I left the little ones with Ken snuggled on the bed watching a movie on the laptop. And I took the four oldest back for the parade. We made time for one more ride which nearly gave Tyler a panic attack when he was fastened in the seat and couldn't get out. He soon recovered when the ride began he couldn't help but have fun.

At the parade we were surprised to see our very own neighbors strutting their stuff...Way to Go, Gardner's!

And this is what the kids came to see. Their very own Elementary School! Go Westmore!

We had an awesome time. I loved spending time with the kids. I will definitely put it on the schedule for next year. Even with the rain and the crowds it was a blast!

Kalli and I were there for their Saturday performance. They did awesome! I didn't see you there--I guess I should have looked harder! But I really enjoyed it! I really want to put Kalli in that group this fall.
