My baby is off to girl's camp until Saturday. Syd left this morning at 6:00am. She has been SO excited. She started packing weeks ago. I am excited for her and also a little scared. It's hard watching your oldest grow-up. Sometimes I want to just keep her safe and protected at home, but I know she needs to have these experiences to grow. Plus, I'm sure she will have a wonderful time. But oh, this is new for me and I miss her already.

I can't believe she's big enough to be going to girls camp. I remember when I went. Austin is going with Kurtis this year. Which is kind of weird. It's also weird to be getting after Kurtis when he's nearly taller than me. I can't believe these kids and how fast they grow.
I'm feeling for you, girl! That's how I felt about kindergarten last August! Good luck. She's in good hands with her church leaders, and you're right...she's going to have a great time, socially and spiritually!
I would love for you to do one of those day-in-the-life type posts where we see what you do all day. I'm fascinated! :) I just wish we lived closer!!!!! We'd totally be best friends! :)
That's cool Ty....how did Austin and Kurtis get lucky enough to go to girls camp? That would have been sweet when I was their age ;-)The ratio of girls/boys is definitely in their favor.....Just Kidding. Ken
Girls camp is always a good time! She really is growing up. Let us know how she likes it!
