16 Years Ago Today

16 years ago today I met a skinny boy water skiing. It was Memorial Day in 1994. My cousin, Scott, invited me water skiing along with a friend of his he was trying to set me up with (Kathi, if you are reading that someone was Daryl) anyways...Daryl also invited his brand new roommate Ken. That was the first day I laid eyes on my husband. We paid little attention to each other that day, but six months later we met again, sparks flew and we began a very lengthy 3 year courtship. Often times I look at Ken and remember that skinny boy I met on Utah Lake. I can't believe he's mine. We've come a long way together over the past 16 years. Life is quite a journey, I'm glad I'm traveling with my best friend.
