I decided to flip through last years calendar to remember what exciting things happened in the Robert's home in 2008. Here's what I found....
January-It's completely blank. That's because I never buy a new calendar until they are at least 50% off. I'm way cheap, but I prefer to use the word thrifty.
February-Still completely blank. I must have been going nuts at this time last year, because I really hate not having a calendar up...Oh, wait... I remember I was using the free one you get at tithing settlement...you know...the one from the mortuary. I guess unless you were in my ward you wouldn't know. Whatever!
March-I must have finally made my way to Deseret Book and paid my $7.58 because I now have somethings written...here are a few of the exciting happenings...

I found one for $5 dollars at Wal-mart (is that a deal?). It has pictures of fruit, ideal for the kitchen :) I can't stand not having a calander either.
It's fun looking back to see what happened in the past year.
They have been at that mall kiosk 50% off before the new year:)
We JUST got your Christmas card yesterday. I guess the one we mailed to your old address didn't get forwarded?? Merry Christmas! Congratulations on the birth of #7! We're still holding at 4, but Daryl wants a #5. Yeah, honey, good luck with that. I'm closed for business! :-) So how did the palate surgery go? How is he doing? Has his speech improved? DETAILS! DETAILS!
Hey! my word verification is psycho. Is blogspot trying to tell me something? I am wondering whether I should be offended or alarmed....or a little of both. Oh well, as the teens say, What-ev!
Kathi (aka Daryl's wife)
That was really fun seeing your year at a glance. I would do the same except I print out a monthly calendar from my computer and throw it away at the end of each month. I think I will start keeping a real calendar though because I want to look back as well. You are an inspiration.
