Emma's First Day of Kindergarten

Emma went to Kindergarten today! She is in Mrs. Williams pm class from 12:30-3:30. She'll get to walk home with Sydney, Kaylie and Tyler at the end of the day. She was not the least bit nervous. She's spent a lot of time in Mrs. Williams classroom from the time she was first born. Now it gets to be HER classroom. She is so excited! When we got to school today she went right up got her name tag and got in line. I think she was going to go in without saying good-bye, until I reminded her that saying bye to mom was an essential part of going to Kindergarten. Ken missed her going in by just a minute, but he went in for a quick kiss and hug anyway.

Here is an after school wrap up.....She said it was a good day. Except there was a really annoying boy in a blue short making noise. Actually there were three annoying loud boys, she says. She didn't have to go to time-out. And the best part of the day was holding her teachers hand.
