Our Pioneer Day

I love that Utah has it's own holiday. I love that bankers get holidays off. I love to learn about and celebrate our great pioneers. And I love spending time with my family. We spent a wonderful day in Salt Lake at Temple Square, the Church History Museum, and the Conference Center. My battery died in the camera before we left Temple Square, but here are a few pictures from our fun Pioneer Day.
I feel we are so blessed to live so close to so much church history. I have a deep gratitude for the early pioneers who sacrificed so much to come to the Salt Lake Valley. So much of what we enjoy today is because of their hard work and service in building up the Kingdom of God. How lucky we are to have a knowledge of the restored gospel upon the earth, and to be members of the true church of Jesus Christ.

I thought you and Julianna would have some hot plans. Next time we're that close I'll have to call. We would have loved to hang out with ya in Salt Lake, it was a great day.

Those were some awsome pics you got. You should do a class on picture taking. Going to Salt Lake was a great idea.
