Yesterday, we had the maintenance man here to replace the water heater. I knew short of locking Todd in his room there was no way I could keep him away. So, I told him he could watch, but to make sure he stayed out of Lane's way. Yeah, right! He stood in front, in back of, to the side of, and on TOP of Lane all afternoon. I know this because when I asked Lane if he was getting in the way he said, "Oh yeah, but he's good about moving when I ask him to move". I said, "Good, I'm surprised he hasn't tried to climb up your back". Lane assured me that he HAD several times. That's our Toddy boy!

"Mr. Clean"
Last night I was sitting at the computer when I heard Kaylie asked, "Mom, can you give Toddy a different chore?" I said, "I didn't give him a chore. What is he doing?" She replied, "He's helping me with the dishes, but he's really just getting in the way. I went into the kitchen to find him scrubbing away.

I thought he looked so funny in his 'no pants and Christmas apron' ensemble. I asked him if he could please sweep the floor in stead of wash the dishes. He was happy to oblige.
He is a hard little worker. He loves to be right in the middle things. Always "helping" aka: "getting in the way".
