The Close of Another School Year

The end of a school year always brings some fun activities and traditions. It also makes for a busy month!
Here are a few of the kids highlights.

Sydney graduated from Junior High. In the fall she'll be a Mountain View Bruin. I can't believe she only has three years until High School graduation. Wow!

I really can't say anything that won't sound like bragging, but Sydney really does deserves some credit. She is an outstanding student. Sydney has worked very hard and I admire her constant dedication and hard work.

Tyler graduated from N.O.V.A this week.

And from the 6th Grade.
Ty played the prelude music for his graduation. He was totally nervous but I think it is completely awesome that he agreed to do it because Ty doesn't really play the piano. Well, he plays, but mostly by ear. He doesn't read notes, although he can, he doesn't, he just plays.

Ty is off to Junior High next year. He will be a great Lakeridge Leopard. Ty will be taking French and playing the trumpet in the band. Ty also got accepted to participate in a UVU Prep summer school program for kids interested in science, mathematics, and engineering.
Ty was awarded "The Great Kid" award today and I agree he is a pretty great kid!

The dance festival is a favorite tradition. Even though I have been watching almost the exact same dances for the past ten years it's still so fun to watch each child strut their stuff.

Occasionally, we get surprised with a new dance and that is always a treat. This year the kindergarten and 6th grade performed together to "Gangnam Style". So cute! My videos won't upload otherwise I would show off their cuteness.

Next year we will have 1 in High School, 2 in Junior High, 4 in Elementary, and 1 at home. Whoot, Whoot!!
