Incriminating Evidence

Sometimes I have to wonder what my kids are thinking!?!
Sometimes it seems completely out of their control to not do things that are clearly not a good idea.
I understand it's a kid thing and simply just a part of growing up. But Really?
Let me give you an example...
This was clearly not a good idea.
Nope. Not at all.
Not sure what they were thinking.
I might have been tempted to blame this "accident" on the baby, because surely everyone above the age of two would have known better, right?
Wrong!
I found incriminating, irrefutable evidence that it was not the baby. (BTW- I am completely aware that a nearly 2 1/2 year old is not actually a baby, but she is my baby, and will most likely never live down that title).
Anyway...back to the evidence.
This ink wielding, couch ruining little culprit didn't leave fingerprints...oh no.
He left whole hand prints. In multiple places.

Guess Who?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you guessed right...it was DARIC!
The little chump.
I don't know what refrained me from paddling his hiny, but for some reason I thought it was kind of funny. Who does this? Who thinks this is ok? I guess my little four year old does. I guess it's a good thing I like Daric better than I like my couches.

Oh my! Perhaps you've already tried a few things to get it out...but thought I'd pass on something that has really worked for me in the past--just in case. It's a product called "Folex"...I find it at Home Depot in the carpet stain remover isle. It is mainly for carpet--but the bottle indicated "upholstery" as well. I've had black permanent marker in my carpet before, and it came completely out--other stains come out instantly. THe marker, I'll admit took several weeks of saturating, and scrubbing, and letting it sit, then doing it again...it went from black to purple to pink, then back to white carpet. Maybe it could save your couch, too? (: (you may want to spot check it first to make sure it doesn't discolor the couch--not sure what type of material it is). Good luck!!!
