September: This and That

This is a short and sweet picture review of a few of our September happenings.

I got to spend a whole day with my sisters, Ann and Heather, husking over 1000 ears of corn from Ann's garden. I am the only one that walked away with all my fingers still intact and wound free. Lucky me! We also went to the scrapbook expo together, and then went shopping at one of our favorite stores, D.I. Oh, how I love a good thrift store. It was a fun day, the only thing that would have made it better would be to have all my sisters together. Love ya, gals!

I got a visit from my good friend, Dione, this is her new little guy. He is 7 weeks old. Aftyn is nearly 8 months. She's not that much bigger. She now weighs 14lbs. 10 oz. Side note: Dione has 7 children, I have 9 so with the exception of Aftyn and Zachary we have had children of all the same gender in the exact same order. Our first 5 kids are all born within 6wks - 3 mo. of eachother. Dione was been my friend since way back to our single days at King Henry Apts. We got married 3 weeks apart and have grown our families at nearly the same rate ever since. D, just needs to have twins now, wink, wink.

Aftyn is a binky hoarder.

Mosquito face. Poor McKenna nearly got eaten alive by the pesky little things. The middle of her forehead swelled up so much she reminded me of a character from a star trek episode.
