We officially have a teenager in the house!

I used to be afraid to have my kids grow-up and become TEENAGERS, but have since changed my mind. I have loved watching Sydney blossom into a beautiful young woman. She is such a sweetheart. I really feel spoiled with her, and grateful that she has made this transition into teenage-hood so easy. I know we are just at the beginning, but Sydney is pretty wise. She tries very hard to make good choices. I have no doubt we'll have a few bumps along the way, but I'm very excited to see what the next few years will bring.

 

 Soon we'll have teenagers busting out all over the place every year or two from here on out. Oh, My! 

I just realized yesterday that by the time Aftyn finishes kindergarten, Sydney will be graduating from high school. I only have 5 more years before Sydney is off to college. How can that be? I'm way too young for that, right? Oh heart be still, I don't know if I can take that. Aaawww...I won't think about that for a few more years.

 

Sydney, I am so proud of you.
