Poor Tyler

Sunday morning I woke up to the sound of someone crashing through the bathroom door and into my room. It was Tyler. He flopped himself on the bed complaining that he was dizzy, hot, itchy and nauseated. My bedroom light was not yet on so I didn't see the source of the itching right away. I was more concerned about the other symptoms which thankfully he quickly recovered from. After flipping on the light for further examination it didn't take long to see that he was covered in a red blotchy rash.

Wanna see? Beware you may start itching too!

OUCH! Ty was covered from head to toe. But he was so brave. I remember getting hives like this when I was about his age. I could stand it until they reached my face, then I started bawling to my mom to make them go away. I know that Tyler was so uncomfortable, but he did not complain. Except about the taste of his medicine and I can't say that I blame him for that. Ick!

Today he is looking much better, but not 100%. I'm sure by tomorrow he'll be back to his handsome self.

Ty, I never did figure out what caused the rash. My kids just do weird things like this sometimes. I've given up trying to figure it out and just stock up on the Benadryl.

So uncomfortable! It looks painful and super itchy. I think it wouldn't be as hard to deal with if you at least knew what caused it so you could try to prevent it but when you don't even know where it came from it is just miserable.

Here's to a speedy recovery Tyler.
