Robert's Wrap-Up: February

I can't believe February is over, but I can't wait for SPRING. I'm definitely feeling the bug for warm weather and outside play days.

Here are a few of my favorite February photos and activities.

Here is Sydney being a weirdo....Here is the same weird Syd from a different angle. Man, I love that silly girl.
This is how Daric spends his days lately. He loves to get into things and exploring his world. He is finally deciding that walking is an acceptable mode of transportation. Although, when speed is of the essence he still prefers to crawl.

Apparently, McKenna thinks she is lactating because here she is with my breast-pump trying to get some 'milkies'.

Here's Emma's b-day. This is the first time we lit the candles and sang to her. However, as you can see Todd is better prepared with a deep breathe than Emma is...which resulted in Todd blowing out all the candles.

This time is the 'do over'. Candles were re-lit and thanks to Sydney, Todd was not victorious the second time.

Oh, here's me officially turning OLD.

Toddy decided that he wanted to teach all of us a lesson....
He got out his scriptures, TV tray, and chair. He was basking in the attention of the whole family.
We learned some things about Jesus and tornadoes, the rest I'm not certain about.

I made Todd a tuna sandwich for lunch, but I forgot the pickles. He decided to help himself...he wanted to make sure he didn't miss a spot. I was afraid he wasn't ever going to stop....eventually he did and thoroughly enjoyed his pickle-I mean tuna sandwich.

This is my nephew Josh at his last High School B-ball game. It's not really his last, because tournaments begin next week. Josh had a great season and he are very proud of him. Good Luck at State, we'll be cheering for you!

This is our little Science Fair winner. Syd went to the District Science Fair again this year and received an honorable mention for her project. Way to go, Syd!

A few other happening that I didn't capture on film were...
Emma's patriotic program. She sang her little heart out and did a fabulous job on her speaking part. Yah, Emma!

Ken spent a few days out of town on business. He traveled to Cedar City, St. George, and Las Vegas. He was able to spend an evening in Cedar City with his brother's family which he really enjoyed.
Todd made huge progress in speech....He can now say his S's....which is HUGE! Sydney is no longer Nydney...he can now say everyone's name in the family correctly. This is big, big, big. I am loving watching him improve by leaps and bounds.
Well, okay I think that's it. Tah tah for now. :)

Great post! February was a fun month. Especially with so much birthday cake. Congrats to Syney on her science fair project. I think it was a fantastic idea. Just a side note...give McKenna more milk. The poor kid has to go to extreme mesures to get a little milk.

I saw your comment on Kari's 5K post and I thought I'd share the training program I've been using:

http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-238-261--9397-1-1X5-3,00.html

I'm on week 5 and it's amazing how much longer I can run now that I've figured out the whole breathing thing.

My friend really likes this program and it is specifically for a 5K:

Be brave! You can do it :)
