A Spendy Few Days

June is costing me money...Next week is Father's Day and a few days later is McKenna's 2nd birthday. No big deal...I planned for those expenses. It's the unexpected ones that really get me.

Yesterday I had to take Daric to the Dr.'s for some immunizations. Ken was just running an errand then taking his lunch break so we agreed to meet each other by Wal-mart so he could go with me. We parked his car in an empty parking lot. When we came back an hour later...the car was gone! I picked Ken up at 1:38, the car was picked up at 1:41. I think Mr. Tow-man must have seen Ken get out of his car. He was waiting like a vulcher. Anyway, that little trip to the Dr.'s office cost us $136.00. Ouch!

Then this morning Ken got a speeding ticket on his way to work. That's gonna hurt!

Then this morning I had a Dr.'s appt. Shortly after I got there the power went out. I saw the doctor long enough for him to write me a prescription and tell me to make another appt. when the power was back on. That little trip cost $99.00.

Well, Crap!

It does seem like it's always something. Our last one cost us $1200!

Those kind of unexpected expenses make me cry. Ken goes 3 miles to work. How can he get a speeding ticket that quickly? Oh yeah, I remember getting a speeding ticket 3 blocks from my house in Colorado once. I didn't even know my bucket of bolts could go that fast that quickly. I feel your pain. Let's hope there are no more major unexpected expenses or losses.
