Catch Up!

It's seems harder to find time to blog lately so here is a few things that have been happening...

Friday is the last day of school...Oh, my! Life is going to get crazy around here, but we are all looking forward to a break from the routine.
Here a few pics from our Memorial Day...We drove up the canyon to have a picnic, but after arriving and noticing that every other family in Utah County have the same idea we drove back down to our local school park and enjoyed a quiet, fun lunch without the mass crowds.
Aren't they super cuteness? Tyler is so hard to get a straight out of, he is really silly these days. I practically have to threaten him with his life to get him to smile normal and not make a face.In addition to playing on the playground they love to climb trees. This is Kaylie mid-jump.

We had an awesome day. Ken had a few days off of work so we were able to work, play and relax together.

*Here's a pic of Syd'd thigh...Last week we were nearly eaten alive by mosquitoes. The weather was feeling so nice that I had all the doors and windows open, and we spent a lot of time outside. Apparently we were not the only ones enjoying the weather...so were the nasty West Nile carriers.

Some of my children are allergic to bug bites. Sydney is, but this one isn't so bad. Emma didn't want to go to school because her hand was so swollen she was embarrassed. Mean mom sent her anyway.

Once I had to take Emma to the ER because she had a bite that covered her entire thigh from hip to knee. It was pretty nasty. The doctor taught me a trick to draw a line around it to see if it keeps getting bigger. That is what I did here in this picture of Sydney, but after I drew it I thought it looked like a bald man with big ears, so I gave it a face.

*Last week we also said good-bye to part of the family...not a living breathing part...but still kind-of sad. We sold the trailer.

We decided being out of debt is more important then having toys right now. She was fun while she lasted.

*We really did lose a family member also. Ken's step-Grandma passed away. She lived in Vernal. So Ken's parents came out for the funeral.

Mom bought the kids 3D sidewalk chalk and bubbles. They had to play in the garage because the wind was out of control, but they had a great time.

I am not usually a big fan of...bird, squirrel, mountain, flower, etc. kind of pictures, because I like to see people. But to bad for you because I'm going to post some anyways. These are from my front flower bed. They are all mostly dead and gone now, but I have new different ones blooming. Me likey!

Pretty huh? Okay, I think I'm done for now. I have more to post...but it's late. I'll save it for another day.

Fun park pictures, Nancy! I like the photo of all the kidlets on the slide together. :) I'm sure that it's headed for a scrapbook page:)

Nanc! Your kids are all beautiful! And the idea for seeing if the bug-bite was spreading is a great idea. You could use that for a lot of things. I am glad you played catch up. P.S. your flowers were gorgeous!
